Merry Christmas!

This is a lie. Nebraska had no snow when we visited.
We are spending Christmas in Nebraska with Nicole's family.

On Christmas eve our invitations were hand delivered to Nicole's parents house.  They all look unique - they have different colors, backing patterns, and have different colored ribbons.  We are so excited to send them out (we primarily refers to Nicole in this instance).  A stop at the local Wahoo post office resulted in a purchase of wedding themed stamps, so we are definitely good to go!

We'll be handing out the invitations to the Benes family today (Nicole's mother's side).  Once we return to Virginia, we'll start sending out the rest.

Our Christmas trip also involved a full day of wedding planning.  We've finally decided on linens, and Nicole is very excited about her wedding hats.

Have a Happy Holidays wherever you are!

Hotel Information

We have reserved a block of hotel rooms at The Embassy Suites for our guests.  The price is $129 / night for either one king or two double beds.  In order to receive this rate, you'll need to book online using the link provided, or give them a call and mention the "Neff Sud Wedding Block."  You'll also need to book by April 26, 2012.  In comparison, the price on their website today is $170.

The Old Market Passageway

The hotel is located in downtown Omaha, in an area known as The Old Market, which has plenty of museums, restaurants, and shopping.

We toured a bunch of hotels downtown with our parents in June of 2010, and found this hotel to be centrally located, with nice rooms, amenities, free shuttle transportation, and also free breakfast!

The Old Market at Night
If you decide to choose another hotel, please consider the location when choosing.  Omaha is not known for having public transportation, and although it isn't a huge city in terms of population, it is quite large in size (you know - all that land in the Midwest).  The Old Market is the best area in terms of having multiple attractions within an easy walking distance.  Of course, if you rent a car, your lodging options expand greatly!

We are getting excited, and can't wait to see you all in Omaha!
